The Marshall Golf Club is on the southwest side of Marshall between Country Club and College in a parkland setting without homes or development.

The layout is a straightforward test as it moves along narrow, tree-lined fairways with sand bunkers liberally spotted at the landing zones and guarding the greens. Several ponds and the Redwood River impact play on numerous holes. There are four sets of tees, with the tips playing to 6,601 yards, 72.2/136, course/slope ratings.
