McCauslin Brook is in northern Wisconsin's State Forest Lands in an isolated setting in Lakewood.

The layout lumbers over rolling contours along fairway corridors bordered by stands of hardwoods or the deep woods. McCauslin Brook traverses the northern half from east to west in addition to multiple ponds which provides water hazards on half the holes.
