Metamora Fields is 15 miles northeast of Peoria on the west side of Metamora.

The golf course is a links-style layout and wide open to the elements with ponds, lakes, and streams on multiple holes and an abundance of sand traps along the landing zones and guarding the greens. The rough is thick and healthy, the bunkers are deep with white sand, and the greens are all shapes and sizes and moderately undulating. It's long at 7,100 yards from the tips, the middle tees at 6,209 yards, 70.0/120, course/slope ratings, designed by D.A. Weibring, and Steve Wolfard.
