Frances E. Miller Memorial Golf Course is on the east side of Murray a few miles west of Kentucky Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout roaming over rolling terrain with a mix of open and narrow fairways, blind shots, water hazards, sand bunkers, and generally uneven lies. The front nine is set on hilly terrain and requires accuracy from tee to green, whereas the backside rewards length and accurate, long iron play. The course in on a 175 acre tract of land donated to the Murray State University Foundation in 1979 by L. D. Miller, a 1937 MSU Alumnus and prominent Murray businessman and dedicated to his wife. From the tips it's 6,592 yards, a par of 71, 72.6/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Jack Kidwell/Dr. Michael Hurdzan in the mid-1980s.
