Mingo Bottom is on the north side of Elizabeth strolling over a tongue of the Little Kanawha River surrounded by foothills.

The layout is generally straightforward as it moves along fairways defined by young trees leading to green complexes of varying shapes and sizes. There's multiple ponds and wetlands from the River in play and sand bunkers are found defending most greens. It will play to 6,615 yards, 72.0/126, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Chuck Furbee.
