Montague Golf Club is just off I-89 in Randolph 30 minutes south of Montpelier in a stereotypical, small Vermont village.

The golf course is a combination links and parkland design with a few holes along the Third Branch of the White River. It's said to be the second oldest golf course in Vermont opening in 1913, and known as a hidden gem. The front nine is lined by maple and pine trees while the back nine is an open, links-style design over rolling and sloping fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses. It's not all that long at 6,134 yards from the back tees with a par of 70, 69.6/119, course/slope ratings.
