Moody Gardens is located west of Galveston adjoining the airport to the west and along Sydnor Bayou.

It's an open links-style layout with water hazards on the majority of the holes and open to the constant wind. The golf course moves along broad fairways on level terrain with a generous amount of sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the generous greens. In the summers the mosquitoes are the golf course's main defense, be sure to bring plenty of Deet with you! The golf course plays to 6,816 yards, 73.3/135, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, originally designed by Carlton Gibson with a redesign by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy.
