Mount Washington Golf Course

Mt. Washington is a classic, four-season resort hotel in northern New Hampshire. It has 27 holes situated in a stunning setting in the Presidential Mountain Range, with Mt. Washington in the background.

The original Mount Pleasant Course is a nine-hole parkland layout from the late 1800s along the Ammonoosuc River. It plays to a par of 35 at 3,215 yards from the tips, 34.3/124 course/slope ratings, and two shorter tees. Along the way, a variety of architects, including Alex Findlay, Gene Sarazen, Ken Venturi, and, more recently, Brian Silva, have touched the course to finally restore it to its original design.

The 18-hole Championship Course is a wide open layout along broad fairways bordered by scattered trees. Several streams are in play, but an abundance of sand bunkers defend the fairways and modest greens. It is a par of 71, 7,004 yards, 73.7/124 course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees. The course is an original Donald Ross design from 1915, faithfully restored by Brian Silva in 2008.
