Mt Kineo Golf Course is located on Moosehead Lake at the base of the 798-foot summit of the rhyolite Mount Kineo.

The golf course is a rudimentary, 9-hole layout in a most scenic setting and is thought to be the 2nd oldest golf course in Maine. It features straightforward fairways leading to modest greens absent sand bunkers with the signature, 4th hole, a par 3 of 138 yards over water to a green nestled at the base of Mount Kineo.
