Mt Kineo Golf Course is located on Moosehead Lake at the base of the 798 foot summit of the rhyolite Mount Kineo.

The golf course is a rudimentary, 9 hole layout in a most scenic setting and thought to be the 2nd oldest golf course in Maine. It features straightforward fairways leading to modest greens absent sand bunkers with the signature, 4th hole a par 3 of 138 yards over water to a green nestled at the base of Mount Kineo.
