Mt. Pleasant CC is in eastern Texas off I-30 between Texarkana and Greenville.

The golf course is a parkland style layout with tree lined fairways and very scenic as it wraps around the forests on the north shore of New City Lake. The golf course is a classic design with the original nine holes by Perry Maxwell from the 1930s, and from the tips is 6,396 yards, 71.2/138, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
