My Old Kentucky Home State Park Golf Course is in the state park on the southeast side of Bardstown.

The layout begins with narrow tree lined, driving corridors and finishes with open, forgiving fairways. There's a stream and pond as water hazards and sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the generous, undulating greens. It's a scenic and quiet layout without any development along the course, and a good mix of short and long holes with multiple doglegs. It's fairly short at 6,385 yards from the tips, 70.0/128, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, an original 1930s design which was updated by Fred Rux.
