My Old Kentucky Home State Park Golf Course is in the state park on the southeast side of Bardstown.

The layout begins with narrow, tree-lined driving corridors and finishes with open, forgiving fairways. There's a stream and pond as water hazards and sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the generous, undulating greens. It's a scenic, quiet layout without any development along the course and a good mix of short and long holes with multiple doglegs. It's fairly short at 6,385 yards from the tips, 70.0/128, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, an original 1930s design that was updated by Fred Rux.
