Nags Head Golf Links is along 158 in south Nags Head just north of the Washington Baum Bridge.

The golf course is a challenging layout as it's always affected by the wind coming off the Roanoke Sound and the Atlantic. The fairways are narrow and bordered by beach natural areas with water in some form in play on 14 holes and pot bunkers scattered about as it journeys through a residential real estate development. It's a open links style design by Bob Moore that plays to 6,126 yards, 70.2/138, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees
