Nashville National is located just 20 minutes northwest of downtown Nashville off I-24 between Nashville and Clarksville at the New Hope Rd (Exit 31) then northeast for two miles.

The golf course is a shot maker's layout lumbering through a scenic and isolated setting over rolling hills, woodlands, and along limestone cliffs. It's a little on the short side at 6,217 yards from the tips, par 71, 70.2/123, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by James Kirkley and Mary Mills.
