New Mexico Tech's golf course is literally out in the middle of nowhere Central New Mexico between El Paso and Albuquerque in the Rio Grande valley just off I-25.

The layout is parkland style providing some surprising elevation changes as it glides along tree lined fairways bordered by a mix of homes or natural areas with several water hazards in play. The course measures 6,596 yards (par 72), from the tips, 70.6/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Jeff Brauer and Jim Colbert in 1990.
