New Mexico Tech's golf course is literally in the middle of nowhere, in central New Mexico, between El Paso and Albuquerque, in the Rio Grande Valley, just off I-25.

The layout is parkland style, providing some surprising elevation changes as it glides along tree-lined fairways bordered by a mix of homes or natural areas with several water hazards in play. The course measures 6,596 yards (par 72) from the tips, with 70.6/125 course/slope ratings and three shorter tees, and was designed by Jeff Brauer and Jim Colbert in 1990.
