The Newberry Country Club is on the south side of Newberry at at the intersection of Rts 28 & 123, 45 minutes north of the Mackinaw Bridge.

The golf course is a parkland design lumbering over rolling hills lined by trees with several fairways seemingly chutes. It's a drill in course management with slight and dramatic doglegs, numerous water hazards and natural areas, and sand bunkers mostly defending the small to mid-sized greens. There's three sets of tees from 4,978 yards to 5,933 yards from the tips, 68.4/124 course/slope ratings, originally opened in the early 1920s with recent design work by Mike Husby.
