Nob North is in Cohutta about 30 minutes north of Calhoun and 45 minutes southeast of Chattanooga in the north Georgia mountains.

The course is within a residential development over generally level terrain as it winds along narrow and open, tree lined fairways with numerous water hazards and fingered bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the greens. From the tips it plays to 6,608 yards, 72.3/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Gary Player.
