Nob North is in Cohutta about 30 minutes north of Calhoun and 45 minutes southeast of Chattanooga in the north Georgia mountains.

The course is within a residential development over generally level terrain as it winds along narrow and open, tree-lined fairways with numerous water hazards and fingered bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the greens. From the tips, it plays to 6,608 yards, 72.3/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Gary Player.
