Northwestern Hills is the Northwestern State University course located midway between Alexandria and Shreveport on the southwest side of Natchitoches off the Louisiana 1 Bypass.

The course is carved through a clearing in the woods along the Young Bayou. It traverses fairways loosely defined by trees over level terrain with water features in play on most holes. The course plays to 6,107 yards, 68.8/115, course/slope ratings off the tips with two shorter tees.
