Northwestern Hills is the Northwestern State University course located midway between Alexandria and Shreveport on the southwest side of Natchitoches off the Louisiana 1 Bypass.

The course is carved through a clearing in the woods along the Young Bayou. It traverses fairways loosely defined by trees over level terrain with water features in play on a majority of the holes. The course plays to 6,107 yards, 68.8/115, course/slope ratings off the tips with two shorter tees.
