Northwinds Peninsula Golf Club is on a peninsula of Indian Lake in the Laurel Highlands located 22 miles west of Bedford just off the Lincoln Highway.

The course wanders in two circular loops with returning nines and is carved into the deep woods over rolling terrain with a sprinkling of sand bunkers along the landing zones and defending the modest greens. The front side features a view of Indian Lake on hole #5 while on the backside ponds come into play on holes #11, 13 and #15. The course was Arnold Palmer's first design in 1974 and plays to 6,820 yards, 74.6/140, course/slope ratings off the tips with four shorter tees.
