OakCreek saunters through the red rock canyons south of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek off Verde Valley School Road.

The layout is a traditional, parkland design over hilly topography along tree lined fairways with water features on five holes. It's a most scenic setting in the red rock canyons with Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, and Lee Mountain in the distance, although the homesites do visually infringe on the experience at times. The course is roomy at the landing zones yet protected by sand traps and the modest, contoured and elevated greens are well defended by fingered sand bunkers. It's a Robert Trent Jones, SR. & JR. design of 6,824 yards, 71.7/131, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
