The Oakdale Golf Club is 15 miles southwest of Hutchinson on the north side of Lake Allie, surrounded by Minnesota farmland.

The golf course journeys over slightly rolling hills through mature, tree-lined fairways with several small ponds, numerous slight doglegs, and sparing use of sand traps around the small oval or kidney-shaped greens. Joel Goldstrand designed the course, which has four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,609 yards, 72.1/129, course/slope ratings.
