Okoboji View Golf Course is on the west side of West Okoboji Lake, surrounded by fields 10 minutes from downtown Spirit Lake.

The golf course is a compact parkland layout lumbering along narrow, tree-lined corridors. There are sand traps defending the greens, a stream traversing the northern third of the layout along with three large ponds, and generous oval or kidney-shaped greens. Four sets of tees, designed by E.G. McCoy, have tips playing to 6,060 yards, 68.7/119, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
