Old Baldy is a 9-hole golf course on the northeast side of Townsend, surrounded by farmland and fields.

The rudimentary layout is defined by evergreen-lined fairways leading to small, oval greens over undulating terrain in the Missouri River Valley, with views for miles. There are two sets of tees, with the tips playing to 3,150 yards.
