The Onawa CC is a 9-hole layout from the 1920s located midway between Omaha and Sioux City off I-29 at Exit 112 to the southeast.

The golf course is a parkland layout, ambling over level terrain surrounded by farmland. The fairways are defined by mature hardwood trees, with a scattering of sand traps and water hazards leading to generous, oval greens. There are two sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 3,056 yards, 45.5/114, course/slope ratings.
