The Ortonville Golf Course is on the north side of town, overlooking Big Stone Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout, with the fairway corridors lined by trees journeying over a large, natural tract of land, with homes lining just a few holes. Numerous water hazards produce several forced carries, but there are minimal sand bunkers. From the tips, the course plays to only 6,171 yards, 69.2/122 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Joel Goldstrand.
