The Ortonville Golf Course is on the north side of town overlooking Big Stone Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout with the fairway corridors lined by trees journeying over a large, natural tract of land with homes lining just a few holes. There's numerous water hazards producing several forced carries, but minimal sand bunkers. From the tips the course plays to only 6,171 yards, 69.2/122, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Joel Goldstrand.
