The Patalka Golf Club is a municipal golf course on the south side of town just west of the St. Johns River.

It's a classic layout winding over slightly rolling terrain along fairways defined by Spanish moss draped oak and pine trees. Sand is the dominant feature here in the form of long waste areas and conventional sand traps defending the fairways and modest, raised greens. It's short at 5,862 yards, 68.3/118, course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees, originally designed by Donald Ross with a redesign by Bobby Weed.
