Pheasant Trails Golf Course is 50 Miles north of Amarillo on the north side of Dumas surrounded by farmland and fields.

The course is a tale of two nines with the front nine a wide open, links-style design along broad fairways bordered by heavy rough. The backside however, narrows considerably as it traverses mature hardwood, tree lined corridors leading to oval or kidney, shaped greens. Overall, it features several slight and dramatic doglegs with a pesky stream in play on six of the initial ten holes. It can play to 6,313 yards, 71.0/121, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees.
