The Pike Run Golf Club is on the north side of Ottawa, surrounded by farmland and forests. It is on a large, natural tract of land with distinct fairways.

The front nine offers expansive fairways off the tee, while the backside moves along confining corridors lined with trees, both sides punctuated by Pike Run and the occasional pond and sand traps, with a variety of green shapes and sizes. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,400 yards, 69.1/115, course/slope ratings, originally designed by Ernie Schrock.
