Pine Creek is within a fully developed residential community in north Colorado Springs between Briargate and Chapel Hills Drive.

The layout winds through Pine Creek valley along natural grasslands with Pine Creek sinewing through 15 of 18 holes. The front side is a canyon-style layout while the back side features more links-style play. There is a total of 380 feet of elevation change, with most holes providing views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range. There are four tee boxes ranging from 4,882 yards to 7,241 yards for the championship tees; the white tees are 5,892 yards, with 68.8/123 course/slope ratings, designed by Richard Phelps.
