Platteville is a classic golf course from the 1920s located about 30 minutes northeast of Dubuque.

The layout is generally straightforward, save for a stretch of severe doglegs on the back side, as it moves along mature, tree lined fairways over rolling contours. There's a good change of pace throughout the round and numerous scoring opportunities with long and short par 3s, drivable par 4s, and a couple of par 5s which may be reachable in two. The course can play to 6,066 yards from the tips, par of 71, 68.9/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
