Plumas Lake Golf Club is about an hour north of Sacramento in Olivehurst off CA 70 at exit 12 to the west.

The golf course is a parkland layout journeying along oak tree lined fairways with a stream traversing the layout from east to west affecting play on a number of holes and sand bunkers primarily defending the greens. It plays to 6,422 yards and a par 71 from the back tees, 71.9/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, originally built in the 1920s, but a new 9 and a redesign done in the 1960s by Bob Baldock.
