Poston Butte is in the Valley of Phoenix southeast of town about 30 minutes southeast of Chandler.

The course is part of a residential development and a desert style layout over level terrain with an abundance of sand bunkers and two water hazards including the island green at the par 3, 17th. The course was designed by Gary Panks and from the tips plays to 7,282 yards, 74.1/127, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
