Prairie View is 15 miles southeast of Lima on the east side of Waynesfield.

The golf course is surrounded by farmland on generally level terrain, so it's easily walkable. The fairways are generous and straightforward save for several gentle and dramatic doglegs. The fairway corridors are lined with 400+ trees that have been planted since the course's inception in 1990. Only two sand traps are in play, but multiple ponds and streams impact play on 1/3 of the holes. There are three sets of tees, with the middle white tees playing to 6,185 yards, 72.0/113, course/slope ratings, designed by Charles Buffenbarger.
