Prairie View is 15 miles southeast of Lima on the east side of Waynesfield.

The golf course is surrounded by farmland on generally level terrain so it's easily walkable. The fairways are generous and straightforward save for several gentle and dramatic doglegs. The fairway corridors are lined with the 400+ trees that have been planted since the course's inception in 1990. There's only two sand traps in play but multiple ponds and streams impacting play on 1/3 of the holes. There's three sets of tees with the middle white tees playing to 6,185 yards, 72.0/113, course/slope ratings,designed by Charles Buffenbarger.
