Prairie West is off I-40 at the Airport Road exit to the north side of the Airport.

The golf course is a traditional layout gliding along level fairways defined by stands of oaks trees. It's very playable as it moves along generally broad fairways with slight doglegs defended by two ponds and sand bunkers defending many of the green complexes. It can play to 6,721 yards, 69.6/120, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Ward Maynard.
