The Preston CC is located about 30 minutes north of Logan on the northeast side of Preston.

The golf course is partially built around a residential development with homes bordering the exterior holes. The front nine is the original layout along tree-lined fairways with sand traps guarding half of the small, oval greens. The backside is a wide open, links-style layout along broad fairways bordered by numerous water hazards and a modest amount of sand traps guarding the ample greens. There are five sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,321 yards, 68.9/123 course/slope ratings.
