The Punxsutawney Country Club is on the northwest side of Punxsutawney on Main Street in a mostly natural setting with homes bordering one fairway.

The course is set on rolling terrain over a large tract of land with the straightforward and dogleg fairways defined by evergreens and hardwoods. It's terms of hazards, there's several ponds in play, but an abundance of conventional and pot bunkers littering the landing zones off the tee and defending the modest, oval and kidney shaped green complexes. Off the back tees the course plays to 6,505 yards, 72.1/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes.
