Quail Creek is about an hour southwest of Terre Haute in Robinson.

The golf course is a classic, layout over relatively level terrain along tree lined fairways with more doglegs than a kennel. The narrow corridors of old growth, hardwoods with numerous streams and a lake lead to well defended generally minuscule greens. The golf course's original nine holes may have been designed by Tom Bendelow (Medinah) in the early 1920s, the second nine was designed by William Spear in the 1960s with further design work by Ken Killian and Drew Rogers. It's challenging from the back tees at 6,612 yards, 72.6/132, from the blue tees it's 6,182 yards, 70.128 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
