Quail Crossing is 20 minutes east of downtown Evansville on the west side of Boonville on Rt 261 partially bordering a residential, real estate development.

The golf course moves along a scenic setting through the trees, rolling hills, and an old quarry with parkland and links elements. The parkland holes are classic with stands of old growth, tree-lined fairways, and numerous water hazards, while the links-style holes have broad fairways lined with fescue and sand bunkering along the landing zones and greens. The course can play to 6,758 yards from the tips, 72.8/132, course/slope ratings, and 6,343 yards from the blue tees, 70.7/129, with two shorter tees and a par of 71, designed by Tom Doak.
