Quail Hollow is carved through the forests of Percy Quin State Park southwest of McComb just west of I-55 near the MS/LA state line.
The layout clambers over hilly terrain on the northeast side of Lake Tangipahoa along a blend of broad and narrow, tree lined corridors. There's a stream snaking through the course from the southwest to the northeast in addition to numerous ponds all of which are in play often. It's somewhat straightforward with multiple slight doglegs and a sprinkling of sand traps along the fairways and defending the greens. The layout is an Arthur Hills design of 6,754 yards, 72.0/121, course/slope rating from the tips with four shorter tees.
