Quicksand is on the east side of town at the southwest corner of Rt 277 and Loop 306.

The layout is wide open to the elements and generally windy and features a generous amount and variety of sand bunkers, water/wetlands in play on five holes, and large, contoured, and undulating greens. It was designed by Dr Michael Hurdzan and is 7,171 yards from the back tees, 75.0/140, course/slope ratings with three other tee boxes.
