Rancho Del Ray GC is on the northwest side of Merced off the 99 Freeway at Buhach Road to the north.

The golf course is sandwiched in between a residential community in A****er with homes lining the exterior holes. It's a compact layout along a series of fairway corridors defined by rows of trees. Other than several slight doglegs, it's generally straightforward as it saunters over level terrain with a series of ponds and streams impacting play and sand bunkers predominately defending the greens.
It can play to 6,703 yards, 72.1/124, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Bob Baldock.
