The Raven is at Snowshoe, a golf and ski resort in the middle of West Virginia, located 2 hours west of Staunton in the Monongahela National Forest.

The golf course is a rugged, mountain-style layout in a scenic setting on a flank of Cheat Mountain. Its elevation change is up to 200 feet from tee to green along tree-lined rolling, sloping, and tumbling fairways. Gary Player designed the course, which plays to 7,045 yards, 73.7/141 course/slope ratings from the tips, with three shorter tee boxes.
