The Raven is at Snowshoe, a golf and ski resort in the middle of West Virginia, located 2 hours west of Staunton in the Monongahela National Forest.

The golf course is a rugged, mountain style layout in a scenic setting on a flank of Cheat Mountain with elevation change of up to 200 feet from tee to green along tree lined rolling, sloping, and tumbling fairways. The golf course was designed by Gary Player and plays to 7,045 yards, 73.7/141, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes.
