Rifle Creek is 40 minutes west of Glenwood Springs off I-70 at CO 13 at Rifle.

The course is tucked into a green patch in the Rifle Creek Valley in the midst of the Grand Hogback Range with views for miles. The front nine is a traditional design with scattered trees along the fairways and water hazards/wetlands in play while the back side is target golf through narrow fairways over hilly terrain providing more character than the front. It's a short layout at 6,235 yards from the back tees, 70.2/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Dick Phelps.
