River Bend is on the Rio Grande across from Mexico on the south side of Rt 281 just north of Brownsville.

The golf course is a scenic layout playing through the wetlands of the River valley with broad and narrow, palm and pine tree lined fairways over level terrain. There's water features in play on 15 holes, multiple doglegs, and numerous risk/reward opportunities. It plays to 6.735 yards from the tips 72.6/119, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
