River Birch Golf Club is 30 minutes southeast of Tupelo on the west side of Armory on US 278.

The golf course is parkland style design wandering along broad, tree lined fairways through an upscale, residential development with the homes set well off the course. The layout is over relatively level terrain with multiple lakes and wetlands in play, numerous doglegs, and sand bunkers mostly surrounding the large greens. It was designed by Leo Leathers in the early 1990s and has four sets of tees, the white tees play to 6,301 yards, 69.9/114, course/slope ratings.
