River Greens is a few miles west of the I-77 interchange at US 36 in West Lafayette.

The routing is over flat land on the south side of the Tuscarawas River, with scattered tree-lined fairways, water in play on just a few holes, and a moderate amount of sand. The layout contains three nine-hole tracks designed by Jack Kidwell, all around 3,300 yards from the tips. The original eighteen holes are River/Greens, 71.1/120, course/slope ratings from the tips, Greens/Pines, 71.0/112; Pines/River, 70.6/117.
