River Oaks is just off US 67 at Race Avenue in Searcy about 45 minutes north of Little Rock.

The golf course is a parkland layout cruising along the Little Red River with homes lining several exterior holes. The fairways are defined by old growth hardwood trees with sand bunkers primarily around the greens, but the dominant feature of the layout is a series of lakes and streams impacting play on over half the holes. It plays to a par of 71, 6,158 yards from the tips, 5,860 yards from the white tees, 68.4/113 course and slope ratings, and was designed by John Floyd in the early 1990s.
