River Oaks is just off US 67 at Race Avenue in Searcy about 45 minutes north of Little Rock.

The golf course is a parkland layout cruising along the Little Red River with homes lining several exterior holes. The fairways are defined by old-growth hardwood trees with sand bunkers primarily around the greens, but the dominant feature of the layout is a series of lakes and streams impacting play on over half the holes. It plays to a par of 71, 6,158 yards from the tips, 5,860 yards from the white tees, 68.4/113 course and slope ratings, and was designed by John Floyd in the early 1990s.
