River Pointe is just off Philema Road in northeast Albany on the Flint River and Lake Chehaw.

The front side is parkland style through tree lined fairways while the back side is along the wetlands and lakes with water in play on 14 holes overall, and is somewhat target golf. It's was designed by Mike Young as part of a residential development and is 6,919 yards from the black tees, 72.9/136, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes.
