Riverwalk Golf Club is north of downtown San Diego just east of the San Diego Freeway on the north side of the I-8.

The course moves over slightly rolling terrain along tree-lined fairways with the San Diego River traversing the length from east to west. Overall with the River and multiple ponds/lakes, there's water in play on 10 holes in addition to sand traps defending the greens and the occasional landing zone off the tee. There are three tees from 5,427 yards to 6,550 yards off the tips, 71.9/126, course/slope ratings, redesigned by Ted Robinson.
