Rockwind Community Links is on the northwest side of Hobbs off Lovington Highway with an 18-hole, championship-level course and a 9-hole, short course with holes ranging from 60 yards to 185 yards.

The flat parkland layout has scattered trees lining the fairways bordered by natural desert areas. The front nine provides an outer “loop” that surrounds the interior back nine and plays clockwise around the course's perimeter- a design based on Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland. It's 7,103 yards from the tips, the Green tees are 6,015 yards, 69.3/115, course/slope ratings, redesigned by Andy Staples.
