Roman Nose Golf Course is just north of Watonga in the Roman Nose State Park about an hour northwest of Oklahoma City.

The golf course is an interesting, entertaining layout over fairways traversing plateau to plateau, along mesas, and over rocky canyons full of rattlesnakes, so plan on leaving a few balls here. It's a parkland layout along isolated fairways lined with trees over rolling topography with numerous elevated tees and greens. The course was originally designed by Floyd Farley with redesign work by Tripp Davis and is not long at 6,139 yards from the tips, 70.5/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
